After attempting my test once previously with another instructor, I got in touch with Brian to get some lessons and have another go. Brian gave me total confidence that I would pass my test. His calm approach during lessons helped make things I’d previously found difficult, simple and easy.

Brian is an excellent instructor whose teaching is underpinned by a methodical and measured approach which creates an environment conducive to learning.
He has a calming disposition which puts you at ease behind the wheel, and he is able to disseminate information in a clear and coherent manner. He doesn’t simply teach you to pass the test, he instills the fundamentals of driving so that you are able to read and respond to the shifting demands of the road, skills which develop you into a competent driver and road user beyond your practical exam. Moreover, Brian is an engaging conversationalist and brought a wealth of lived experiences into our conversations which spanned his penchant for wine and the nuances and potential repercussions of the recent Brexit vote.
I cannot recommend Brian highly enough and passing my driving test first time is testament to the quality and rigour of his teaching
As far as driving instructors go, Brian is second to none. I was extremely nervous behind the wheel to begin, but from my very first lesson, he made me feel at ease and used every opportunity to build my confidence.
He displayed knowledge, patience and professionalism at all times, never once losing his temper and always remaining positive with me. He also went out of his way to pick me up for lessons when my work schedule made things difficult, and was always on time for them.
Brian has taught me how to be a safe and competent driver, as well as how to believe in myself. I can’t thank him enough. I would urge anyone wanting driving lessons to book them with him.
