TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The contract between the pupil and Highcroft Driving School is subject to the following terms and conditions.
1. The pupil certifies that a valid suitable licence is held to drive the tuition vehicle.
2. Pupils must inform their instructor immediately if they receive any endorsements on their licence.
3. The instructor will do everything possible to ensure that your lessons start and finish on time, but reserves the right to cancel postpone or change lesson lengths and start/finish times under certain circumstances (e.g. dangerous weather conditions). In the event of postponement, fees paid in advance will be carried forward.
4. Cancellations require a minimum of 24 hours period of notice. Failure to give notice may result in the full tuition fee being charged.
5. While your instructor will make every effort to ensure that the vehicle supplied for test will be fully road worthy and comply with all legal requirements at the start of the test, no responsibility can be made applicable should the vehicle breakdown during the test and is not liable for consequential loss.
6. The instructor reserves the right to refuse the use of the tuition vehicle for test if it considers their provision of a vehicle could cause a risk to public safety.
7. Any outstanding accounts must be settled prior to the practical test.
8. The instructor may refuse to proceed with a lesson if there is reason to believe that the pupil is in any way under the influence of drink or drugs.
9. If the instructor is unable to continue with tuition formal notice will be given.
10. All driving lessons paid for in block ( 10 hours ) must be completed within 2 months unless otherwise arranged.
11. Highcroft Driving School cannot and will not, be held responsible for any expenses incurred in the event of the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) cancelling a test.
In such cases, all complaints are solely with the DVSA, and must be made to them alone.
